I love this dvd! I first saw BBQ University on tv and really enjoyed the shows. For Christmas I got two of his BBQ books and this DVD. The DVD is really informative. One of the best things about it is how the DVD menu is organized. You have the following choices on the dvd menu:
-Play All
-Recipes By Name
-Recipes By Course
-Recipes By Food Group
-BBQ U Classics
-Techniques
-Extras
This makes it really convenient to find and watch a recipe you plan on making. It was a great way to organize the DVD. Choosing play all takes you through all 32 recipes on the DVD, it feels very much like watching the show on tv, just much longer. Also makes it really easy to quickly watch a particular grilling technique(3 zone fire, beer can chicken, etc) before you go out and try it.
You can learn ALOT about barbecuing from this DVD, plus its entertaining to watch. Its fun enough to watch that you will probably watch it more than just when you are trying to figure how to bbq something. It has alot of inspiring recipes and he really shows you and explains how to do alot of different techniques and tricks.
I highly recommend it!
